This webquest is designed to enrich 7th grade students' knowledge and awareness of the Native American culture through research and a PowerPoint presentation. Oklahoma PASS standards include:
World Geography Standard 1: The student will use maps and other geographic representations, tools and technology to analyze relationships between people, places and environments of world regions from a spatial perspective.
1. Locate, gather, analyze and apply information from primary or secondary source.
Language Arts Standard 5: Research and Information - The student will conduct research and organize information.
1. Access a variety of primary and secondary sources to locate information relevant to research questions.
Language Arts Standard 2: Speaking - The student will express ideas and opinions in group or individual situations.
1. Analyze purpose, audience and occasion and consider this information in planning an effective presentation or response.

This educational blog will assist students in a multicultural study of a Native American dance ceremony. I am a full-time student majoring in Elementary Education at SOSU. I am completing this blog as a requirement for EDUC 3313 Technology Integration for the Classroom.
Blogging Rules
1. Use first names only. Never give out name of schools, addresses, or personal information.
2. Do not use the school blog for personal blog use.
3. Respect what you write about yourself, as well as what you write to others, as it could be offensive.
4. Do not plagiarize. Get permission before writing about another person, and remember to always use first names only.
5. Do not use language that is offensive to others, as you would not like to receive offensive material.
6. Always write facts and never fiction.
7. Post only material about education.
8. Always check for spelling and grammatical errors in written material.
